I'm Back!
Ok, I haven't written a new blog in over a year. I am back. I commit to blogging at least once a week, if not more. There is lots to update and I will do that as I go. Changes in the girls, the cats, and the home. My stories should be fun. I will continue to share the "Kenna quote of the day" as she never fails to amuse me with the things that come out of her mouth. Kaemie is an adult now so I doubt I will tell too much about her, but I do have some things to talk about that relate to me and my feelings as a mother. And I have committed to my work friends to start dating again so they can hear all the drama that goes along with that, so I will continue to share how well that goes (ha). See you soon!

Friday Fill-Ins 
And...here we go!
1. I'd like to stop obsessing about food.
2. One of my most favorite romantic memories is too far back to remember.
3. Last night, I had a teeny tiny burger and a handful of fries (dang diet) for dinner.
4. Sorry for the lack of interest.
5. Can we stop wasting my time now?
6. One of my worst temptations is garage sales; other people's trash is hard to resist!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to sleep, tomorrow my plans include garage sales and Sunday, I want to get some spring cleaning done!

Getting Into New Things
Time for my additions to The Dating Profiles Meme. Check it out by clicking my title. My input is in italics. I am enjoying this as I recently joined Match and I am finding the profiles less than impressive.
The Dating Profiles Meme: Getting Into New Things
1. Looking for new friends male or female...trying to get into new things.
Means: I have exhausted my options for the opposite sex and I'm ready to destroy my chances with same sex partners.

Means: But don't be yourself completely because that won't impress me. Just be "like" yourself.
4. I live by a lake in a nice area. We can go fishing.
Means: It's a good thing I live by a lake because I can't think of anything to do but go fishing.
5. I am an avid reader, love a good movie, and but I refuse to discuss anything about TV for much of it all is a waste of time.
Means: I won't discuss TV but I watch so much of it I have forgotten how to form a proper sentence.
6. So, if spontaneity and passion is in your blood, you have finally found the RIGHT one! are you ready to TRULY enjoy the rest of your LIFE??? Let me know!!!!
Means: I LOVE caps AND punctuation!!!
7. I am looking for someone active and takes care of themselves physically & mentally!
Means: I am looking for someone completely opposite of myself.
8. What can I say that makes me stand out from all the others? Honestly, You have heard my story before.
Means: Because I am like all the other jerks you meet...
9. It can happen. I have been in love before, know what it feels like. I have seen it happen for a lifetime.
Means: I am still with my wife and will never leave her, but I am looking for something on the side.
10. I have been told that I'm much better looking in person than my profile picture.
Means: My mom loves me!

I Know What I Want
I'm late for this meme, but just have to do it anyway. Click on the title of this to see the meme for yourself.
The Dating Profiles Meme: I Know What I Want
1. I have updated my profile. I'm at a point in my life where I know exactly what I want.
Means: The lies I told before don't work anymore.
2. I want someone who will be a healthy role model in my children's lives.
Means: I can't discipline them anymore and need someone else to impose consequences.
3. I really enjoy being in nature, feeling and listening to the crunching of leaves under my feet, listening to the waves hit the shore, staying home and listening to the rain and watching a good movie with someone nice, to playing shuffleboard together as we age.
Means: I'm trying to sound romantic and adventurous, but I'm really just a couch potato.
4. I just haven't met you yet.
Means: I have been doing on-line dating for a lllooonnnggg time...
5. Whatever happened to real dating? Is it silly of me to think that it could possibly still exist?
Means: I'm tired of just dating people in my RPGs.
6. I like sun more than snow.
Means: I'm not moving no matter how much I like you.
7. Happily never married, now it doesn't seem like such a bad idea! Actually, it isn't the "married" part that is attractive at this point in my life, I'd love to consider a soulmate with whom to share the second half of life.

That's Not What Happens
1. I must say though I've meet some that on their profile they say "Wanting a SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP" and for some reason or another that's not what happens!
Means: Everyone seems to quickly realize how creepy I really am.
2. I believe that all happens for a reason and that reason may not be for us to understand, just to accept.
Means: I am unable to reason...
3. I can drive a truck, tractor, build a fence, work on my truck, rope steers, ride my horse in competiton and can dress up to go out with you out on a Saturday night.
Means: I am trying to tell you why I always smell like cow shit.
4. I'm independent, yet needy.
Means: I have the money and the time to stalk you.
5. My partner should be loyal, hardworking and confident. Hope I'm not asking for too much.
Means: I am counting on you to support me.
6. Please No headcases, NO Liars, cheats, NOT married or exes drama. Just sincere and HONEST people please....
Means: I haven't been single long so I can afford to be picky.
7. Weekend in Vegas and having it totally comp'd is awesome, going to an African wedding in Kenya was a blast, tango'ng in Argentina was an experience, and swimming with sharks in Belize was an adrelaine rush.
Means: You will never compare to the life I lead by myself.
8. I do believe that you can not understand the true spirit of a person by the means of email.
Means: We must meet for sex immediately.
9. What I am particularly into right now is purchasing older homes, restoring them and renting them.
Means: I am currently unemployed.

I Am Blogging Again!
Yay! We have a computer! It is older and slower than a Sunday driver, but it works and I can blog. Now I just need to get someone to read this blog...
Quick updates for now... Kaemie is no longer playing volleyball. Kenna broke one of her newly repaired legs in September. Kaemie and I worked at a haunted house over Halloween. I failed at NaNoWriMo again. I switched jobs and now work for the county developmental disability organization. Kaemie was in the school district-wide production of Footloose. Dad bought me a Ford Explorer that I love. Kenna just keeps growing.
Oh my gosh! I am just so excited to be blogging again. I am going to download pictures to this dinosaur (computer) and tell more stories!
